With an LVS 34 I can pick up a 5" tube jig at 90ft but gain is up to 75, image gets pretty washed out. Lakers are pretty easy to spot at 100-120 FOW. I've found ideally under 80FOW gives the best image with gain 65ish.

Rule of thumb 6” in the water. Windy conditions and rough water may require more so it stays submerged. I’ve got several inches of adjustment with my Cornfield Crappie Livescope pole.
Whats the key to getting my side vu and clear vu tuned in so I can identify fish/bait off the sides. I’d like to mark as good as I do traditionaly , with side vu.
