Transducer on pole

If you keep it on a pole I always mount mine about a foot under the water and it will ask you on setting how deep you have it. If you like seeing it hit the water click it up one time if your a Crappie fisherman and fish brush leave it level but just play with it and find what you like best 1’ is my depth
