How does everyone use when casting out? Do you just welly the deeper out and then clip that up when you found a spot? Or do you lead around first, clip up then cast the deeper until you hit the clip?
I cast out a few times to get a read of the lake bed then when I find a spot I cast the marker float out. Clip it up and recast to the deeper then fish to the marker float.
